Welcome to the new and improved Bliss Blog! Not only has the blog been revamped but so has our entire site. I must say I’m a lucky gal to have such a tech savvy husband. I’m really excited to give blogging a try and to share some of my best kept beauty and hair secrets.
So lets start with my new favourite drug store beauty product Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream. I first bought this about three months ago when I decided to give BB creams a try. I had done some online research and found that tons of other beauty bloggers thought this product gave you the most bang for you buck so I figured I’d give it a try. I’m generally a drug store make up snob unless it’s my mascara, we can talk about that another day, so I was hesitant when buying but thought for $12.00 I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. The coverage was perfect for a light everyday look and I loved the benefits of having moisturizer, brightener, and primer all in one. My skin is normally fairly dry and since using it I have found that I have been less flakey and much more supple. I do still use a good concealer with it to help cover any left over redness and dark circles then finish with a mineral powder. So there you have it ladies if you are looking for a great alternative to your normal foundation this BB cream is a great candidate.
Last but not least I’d like to say a big thank you to my amazing husband for all his hard work on the new site! I am so lucky to have someone like you to put up with me. I love you! Until next time ladies have a fabulous week!

Handkerchiefs were handed out as we took our seats and umbrella’s were given to anyone who wanted to shade themselves from the sun. It was unbelievably breath taking. Read More...

Yesterday I had the pleasure of teaching a group make up lesson to seven wonderful women, a few who have had the pleasure of being friends for 54 years! After the ladies had enjoyed their lovely lunch prepared by their hostess I began the lesson. As I did each of ladies make up I explained what and how I was doing it so that they could take home with them the tools to create the look again for themselves. Read More...
